It worked fine one evening.  The next morning when I
connected the usual way, my dial up window popped up as
usual - but neither it nor OE 6 were responsive.  I can't
get in to OE to do anything.

Is there a way to "log on" to OE to access my email account (like a
web-based account such as Hotmail?) My computer is down, & I need to have
access to my email. Any ideas are appreciated!

Address Book advice now I'm on broadband11 Sep 2004 21:07 GMT3
Having just changed to broadband (Now Wanadoo, previously BTOpenworld), it
seems I can't send messages to any people on my address book as it keeps
using my BT details. Do I have to physically add every single entry in my
new address book from my current one in Outlook Express?

received the e-mails without having to have the program open all day...

I am able to receive messages but when I try to send a messgae I get this
error message:
An unknown error has occurred. Account: 'Mona', Server:

Outlook express wont let me export individual groups from
my address book. It makes me export the whole address book.
I have mailing lists configured into groups but they have
gotton really big so I want to export them into an online

I've been using OE6 since it came out and I've never had
a problem before.  All of a sudden (about 1 1/2 weeks
ago), everytime I try to send e-mail I get this message:
"The connection to the server has failed.

Since I had to repair XP due to some problems installing
SP2 ( and not being to un-install it), Outlook Express
starts real slow and takes over a minute to switch
between identies. Anybody had this problem before.

Anyone know why, when printing pages of text from Google Groups, the right
hand side of the page is omitted?

I recently copied .dbx files to a CD in two ways:  (1) as individual
files, and (2) by copying them in toto--as the Identities folder, its
long-numbered subfolder, the Microsoft subfolder under that, and the
Outlook Express folder under that (containing the .dbx folders/files).

I have Windows XP and Windows98SE installed in separate primary partitions,
using a boot manager. Lately (for some months) I have experienced problems
downloading mail in both OutlookExpress 6.0 and Outlook2000, when in XP.  I
get a message that I have, say, 30 messages waiting, ...

I upgraded my PC from Win98SE to WinXP Home using a
licensed upgrade program.  I reinstalled my Office 2000
Professional.  Now my Outlook Express no longer opens,
giving an error message that either my computer is out of

I am running Windows XP on a Dell Pentium 4 Desktop.
I succesfully downloaded sp2 for Windows XP last week no
problems. However now I find that my outlook express will
not start and the first message says that my disk is full
