It worked fine one evening. The next morning when I connected the usual way, my dial up window popped up as usual - but neither it nor OE 6 were responsive. I can't get in to OE to do anything.

Is there a way to "log on" to OE to access my email account (like a web-based account such as Hotmail?) My computer is down, & I need to have access to my email. Any ideas are appreciated! LW

Having just changed to broadband (Now Wanadoo, previously BTOpenworld), it seems I can't send messages to any people on my address book as it keeps using my BT details. Do I have to physically add every single entry in my new address book from my current one in Outlook Express?

I've been using OE6 since it came out and I've never had a problem before. All of a sudden (about 1 1/2 weeks ago), everytime I try to send e-mail I get this message: "The connection to the server has failed.

Since I had to repair XP due to some problems installing SP2 ( and not being to un-install it), Outlook Express starts real slow and takes over a minute to switch between identies. Anybody had this problem before.

I recently copied .dbx files to a CD in two ways: (1) as individual files, and (2) by copying them in toto--as the Identities folder, its long-numbered subfolder, the Microsoft subfolder under that, and the Outlook Express folder under that (containing the .dbx folders/files).
