When I add a new newsgroup to my list, the default Synchronization Setting is "New Messages Only". So I manually change it to "Headers Only". Is there some way to make "Headers Only" the default?

I have XP SP2 and can not delete messages by any means. Can't move messages to another folder. I have tried the sfc /scannow command line utility to scan "DLL" files, but no errors occured. Please help. Charles Webb
