OE vs Norton NAV 2004 antispam button on toolbar08 Sep 2004 04:09 GMT2
Ever so often my toolbar on OE 6.0.29 disappears. I read that someone
suspects the problem deals with the entry placed on the toolbar by the
Norton NIS 2004 antispam feature. Disabling this feature does not help with
the toolbar.The toolbar comes back after restarting OE.

My OE won't open pictures directly from newsgroups, I have to open them with

I have a laptop and a home comuper.  Both on a home
nwireless network connected to the internet via cable
modem.  Sometimes I use the laptop to send email
sometimes I use the desktop.  I have a POP3 mail server.

have just removed several viruses from my computer using Norton.
And now when I close Outlook Express 6, I get an application error that

I posted a message on a newsgroup but it doesn't show up in my list.  If I
do a Find on that newsgroup I can see it.  I tried unsubscribing and
starting all over again but it still doesn't show up in my list.

We have two accounts set up in roadrunner, the secondary
account seems to be generating this error all of a
sudden.  It will allow email to come in for the primary

After installing Service Pack 2 for Windows XP I can NOT view the body
of the E-Mail message in Outlook Express 6.0.  Nor I can compose any

I am having problems with passwords on two different XP Home machines, but
dont have any problems on XP Professional or windows 98.  I have looked at
registry entries as suggested in previous posts but it doesnt seem to apply.

OE wants me to put in my password all the time (at log in and at point of
sending mail).....how do I get it to log in automatically - on the initial
startup, it askes for the password, and although the "remember password' is
there, it is light ie: not dark text, and I can not ...
