I am operating on Windows 98 and since a few months, every

I have a clean XP system with ONE 6.0 with all updates installed
including SPA and everything past that including yesterday.
I have always used manual compacting in ONE and have had the auto
compacting unchecked for a long time now with no issues.

Ever since I got a laptop with XP on it, Outlook Express does not retain my
password -  very frustrating having to type it each time I check my mail -
any ideas?

usually, but not always, when downloading e-mail from
Hotmail, i receive two copies of each message.
Is there a fix?

I am experiencing a problem with Outlook Express, in the
preview pane and if recieved message is opened I cannot
view it.  All I get is a blank email

Newbie here (to this group, not to ng's and the 'net) with what I
hope is an easy question.  I've searched the messages and not
found what I was looking for, so ... here goes:

I have click on a webpage which direct to a word 97 document. Then I type in

but the content are garbage with a lot of strange symbols instead of the

I am currently using Windows XP SR1 and OE6.  When I try
to email photos from my photo archive program it will not
