I tried to install using the download file for IE6 so that I can install just
Outlook Express but whenever I run the IE6 install file it says it can't
install anything because it detected a newer version of Internet Explorer.

When I try to open a link to a previous newsgroup message I get the message
that Outlook Express cannot retrieve the message etc. and it may be expired,
This comes up even though the message had been posted only minutes ago.

Seems that in the last few weeks, whenever I try to send a link in IE6 to
someone, it doesn't open. I'm running Win98 SE. OE 6 is my default mail
program. Any suggestions??

I recently installed OE 6 as part of a Verizon DSL installation on a
cousin's computer. The problem is that the "Remember user name and password"
box is greyed out, so she'll have yo type it in every time she wants

Hello, I hope that someone can help me with this problem.
I have a computer with windows millenium, cabel modem(internet) and
outlook exress 6.
The problem is that I have to open outlook exress first, and then

I just set up a new PC.  Although I thought it would be relatively simple, I
can't get OE to save my mail or newsgroup server passwords - even when I
check the "remember password" box.
