I've received several messages from a known trusted sender who is attaching
Excel files (suffix .xls). However, when I view the message in the OE preview
pane the attachment paperclip icon is not present, so I can't save or open
the attachment. Up until just now I (unknowingly) ...

When using the 'Save As' function on the File or Right Click menu, the
listing is sorted in ascending (Z to A) order.  It has always been in
descending order (A to Z) in the past.  How do I change back?

Yesterday, Outlook Express began shutting down on my wife's laptop,
running XP, whenever she clicked on reply to an email--no error
messages.  She was, however, able to receive email.  Also, yesterday,
she was unable to get a response to the "delete" or "reply" commands in

Open OE and get the screen requesting PW for the Pop-server. Road Runner
gave me a new one and OE can not accept the new passwork.

E-mails from two different users sseem to automatically default to the
Deleted Items folder?  Why?  Both addresses are not on my Blocked Senders
List or Message Rules list?  Furthermore, why would these two e-mails head
for the Deleted Items folder when I receive other e-mail ...

I have a Thawte digital signature.  When I sign a message, I get a error
message saying "The message could not be sent.  An error has occured."  Not a
particularly helpful message.
When I set to send with no signature, it sends fine.

When I click on Internet Explorer on my desktop a pop up window comes up that
shows i'm connecting via my isp.  then, i am connected but the home page does
not load, instead it says the page is not available.  it used to load without
problem. if i click on refresh it loads.  it ...

Everytime I open outlook it loads up shows all the folders etc and then
closes. Next time I open outlook it stays open but tells me outlook never
shutdown properly  last time. Any help appreciated.

When I am in Internet Explorer and begin to type in a search box or address
window I get kicked out and get this error:
IEXPLORE caused an invalid page fault in
module USER.EXE at 001e:0000166c.

I use OE6 for my mail but my Palm syncs with Outlook XP. On my old computer
I had them so any change  in one resulted in a sync with the other. How do I
do this again. I forgot who helped me last time. I have windows XP and SP2

dont know what ive done but when i try to access my outlook express it gives
me the above error msg. think i need a new password. when i click the x top
left it enables me to send but not send/receive. how do i get my password?
