Having a problem bringing up embedded video in IE6 (98SE). At CBS Marketwatch site, clicking on one of the videos is supposed to bring up your default embedded player, either RP or WMP. But no matter which is the default I can't bring up either one. Screen freezes and then it's

Since AIM is integrated with OE, I'm hopeful that someone here can suggest a newsgroup or website where I can post some questions about AIM. I cannot believe how hard it is to find the appropriate newsgroup. There has to be one! A post in alt.computer didn't yield any results.

When you have a "contact" in a folder/group and also in the general Address Book is OE storing this contact twice? Or is OE sharing the contact between the group and the add. book? If OE stores twice, can I delete the long running add book that has ALL

Is there a way to see the entire name of the newsgroup, rather than microsoft.public.clip..... or microsoft.public.win... I know I could search for a key word, but it would make life less difficult if the entire name was viewable.

For some reason I have lost control over the Font size in OE. No matter what I put it on, it will revert back to font size 12. Is there a way to overcome this?

My sister-in-law has just bought a new computer. When she opens Outlook Express, any messages with a jpg image attached is opened in the message. She is concerned that this may be security problem.

I am still getting a delay before messages show in Newsgroup. I think this may be a pain to rectify as it doesn't do it with every message. When it delays I the preview pane is grey for a few moments before the message downloads. I thought I had solved it earlier by Compacting ...

I sent three messages just now and they were saved to sent items. So I am just missing messages that I sent from OE over the past two days, however I have noticed that some seem to have ended up in my drafts folder! Not sure why or how but be interested to hear any possible ...

If I download a newsgroup message, the attached payload appears in the preview pane and I can clearly see the attached photograph. The icon in the "subject" pane on the header area shows it to be a jpeg, and the filename says filename.jpg.
