I copied the Microsoft Exchange Personal Address Book (.pab) file from my
computer at work (to which I no longer have access) to my hard drive here at
home, intending to merge it with my Outlook Express 6.0 Contacts.  In the OE
Address Book, I open File - Import - Other Address Book ...

outlook express, wont go Away! uninstall it in add/remove programs, and
disable access in "set program access and defaults" and It Still Opens!!! and

I have my Outlook Express hooked through my msn account. I typed in my e-mail
address wrong, so whenever I try to send messages via Outlook Express, it
says it can't do it because it can't link to my hotmail. How can I change my
default e-mail address and password?

After a recent system "security" update this darn Windows Messenger that
MS tries to push down our all throat has reappeared in my task bar
whenever I start Outlook Express (which I use as my news reader).

Emails from news sources are coming into my OE 6.0 Inboxs with dead
hyperlinks.
The links are properly highlighted and underlined.  Left click does zilch.

OE 6.00.3790 (Win2003+SP1) in process of downloading newsgroups list, closes
without any messages. In result - uncomplete newsgroups list. There is way to
solve my problem?

A friend has just upgrade from 98 to XP and is trying to retrieve 98's
emails but gets the "file not found" error although the files are still on
her hard drive.
Any ideas?

Is outlook express ever going to get a good spam filter? Maybe something
like what Yahoo's got.

Why is it that every time I want to send a message in Outlook Express with
my Hotmail account, I have to verify a picture? I try to send a message and
I get denied. Then, my whole (local computer) Inbox gets erased and one
email message appears in the Inbox saying that I have to go ...

I do not have any unread messages in Outlook Express, but the sign-in screen
shows that I have 5 unread messages.  How do I clear the messages from the
sign-in screen?

I can import/export and use Thunderbird mailer with NO problem. But when
I attempt to use the exact
same settings with Outlook or Outlook express ... no joy . Anyone want
to explain ?
