I can't see who is posting a message in the 'from' field in Outlook Express.
The field is there, but its always blank.  Is there some way to turn it on
so the posters name appears?

Well, I had to go all the way down to the last URL before the spyware ones... The one that had me run regsvr32 on 7, not 5 dlls did the trick.
A couple of questions.
1 - Assuming regsvr32 "registers" a dll, what might cause a dll to get unregistered?

I am in the process of changing PCs I tried to import/export email folders
NGs, and address list.
I managed to get address list onto new PC plus old emails. However I have
lost them on the old PC which I am still using til everything transferred

having an issue with outlook express attachments, whenever OE is used to
send a file, the receipient gets a 'multipart mime message', this never used

Hi Group.
I am finding this really strange. Say for example you want to send a
personal pic to someone and the picture is on the desktop. Importing the
picture into the email so that it would show right away in the preview box

When I try to send an email with imbedded jpegs, the receiving parties cannot
see them, they only get the "x"ed out boxes. How do I correct that problem?

i can recive all e-mails but i cant delete any in my out box, when i open my
