I went through all of the steps with my ISP....and they say it is not on
their end.  I receive fine.....but can't send any emails.  The error message
states that the message could not be sent because the server rejected the
sender's email address.  All of my settings are correct ...

i tried email and data recovery with "recovermyfiles.com",
i found deleted emails from 5 years ago, but not my inbox
which wiped afresh a couple of days ago.
I am looking for help in retrieving messages from my Inbox

Ok, had my laptop on standby, when I left it in standby, outlook express was
open. When I brought it back from standby, I got one of those much loved
windows blue screen errors. So I rebooted, and when back up, went to open my

after I installed Windows XP service pack 2, email messages written in Greek
are truncated when I send them. They are also saved truncated in the Sent
folder. This seems to be symptom 6 that the cumulative update for outlook
express (KB887797) fixes.

I recently went to clean up all my folders in OE6.  I deleted a bunch of
emails and folders in hope of downsizing my OE folder overall.  It was
185MB, but now after deleting a bunch of stuff, the OE folder is 239MB.
=(  I looked and saw that my 'Deleted Items.dbx' file is 55MB ...

I have a well-populated OE contact list with numerous contacts having
multiple e-mail addresses.  Each contact has a designated 'default'
email address, which I have set as the one which I use most often -

How can I prevent email attachments from opening
automatically in the body of the message?  I always get
them right below the text.

At work I have to use the web portal to read the groups.  At home I have OE
set up as my  newsreader.  (OE6 on XP Home addition).
I recently posted a message from home, set the watch on it (using the
glasses icon). I looked from work the next day and bingo - problem solved.  

Been trying to download the graphic file from this site - to test the
