I am unable to connect with my mail server through OE ever since I was attacked by what I believe to be the PSGuard virus. I've tried various methods to eliminate it from the registry to no avail. Does anyone know what to do short of uninstalling/reinstalling OE?

From home, I use Adelphia for internet access and I use OE6 to access their news servers. On the road, I sometimes use a Sprint/Sierra AirCard for internet access. Using the AirCard (or I guess if I were to use any other ISP), how can I access the Adelphia news servers?

I recently did a clean install of Win2000 Prof SP4 on my machine. I also installed IE6SP1 and things were working fine. However, after I installed all the patches from the Windows Update website, I am not able to reply to any post on the newsgroups that i have subscribed

Using OE as a news reader... every once in a while most of my saved messages are deleted. I had 9MB of messages in one group and when I visited that group tonight all but the last 2 days of messages disappeared. After compacting the 9MB file it was 135KB. Why does this happen and ...

Awhile back I inadvertantly deleted one of several files I created in OE to save posts and responses from newsgroups. I'm pretty sure I've located it in the Outlook Express message storage folder in Windows Explorer. Is there any way I can bring it back into the OE user interface?
