Can I import all of my folders, emails and address book from my older
computer running Windows ME, MIE 6.0 Outlook Express directly to my new
computer into Outlook running Windows XP or will I have to import it into OE
first on my new computer and then go to Outlook and import?

It seems that if you send an e-mail to a non-existent or lapsed e-mail
address, the e-mail is sent normally and there's no way for you to know
that the address doesn't actually exist.  Is there any way to know
whether an e-mail address is actually inactive?

I just downloaded some recent updates this morning...and now I can not
download any of my domain address emails - the regular earthlink emails come
thru - but not any of my dot coms.... is there anyway to download the
updates and have the OE email keep working??? Last time I had to ...

I have Outlook Express 6 running on a Windows 2k PC. If I attach an image to
an email  the recipient opens the email with the image open in the text area.
Also when I receive an email with an attached image(s) it is open in the text
area. This is a huge problem for people I know ...

Hi I have a working wireless LAN at home between 3 PCs.  They are connected
through a router and everything works well.
The Cox installer was just here and put in my cable broadband access and
both IE6 and Firefox access the internet fine from that PC.  But Outlook

Computer crashed but managed to save all my internet mail and news folders
and files. Tried everything but could not reimport back to OE6. Got
Mailnavigator but find it is not particularly good to find way around.
prefer something that looks more like OE - can anyone recommend any

I created a 'work' identity alongside the 'main' identity in Outlook Express
6.0. Each identity with a separate account (and separate address, obviously).
Now I want to eliminate the work identity and retain the two accounts under
the 'Main' identity, keeping all the folders.

I found how to manually compact OE's files, but can't figure out how to turn
off the utility that does it anyway, and at the most inconvenient times.  Is
there a bubble to uncheck somewhere?

I have uninstalled the latest windows updates adn used system restore back
to when my system was working correctly. I can now cut/paste in office but
still cannot in outlook express. Can anyone help us out??? ANy help would be

I use OE 6 for reading newsgroups.  For one particular account, I can't
access just one of the newsgroups.  I can see it in the list of newsgroups
on the left of the screen but if I click on the account name I see all the
newsgroups except the one that's not working.  That one ...

A few years ago I downloaded a install from internet that added extra
toolbar in Outlook Express. With this toolbar I could add images,
icons, etc in my emails. I forgot the name of this install or where I
downloaded it from.

If you insert the same graphic into a message more than once the graphic is
encoded only once and the Content-ID: is used for each reference to the
graphic. The bug is the first reference is ok but subsequent references are
truncated by one character.

Outlook express will not open any hyperlinks inside of the messages recieved.
Could Anyone show me a workaround?
