i`ve just had a new psu fitted and everyting seems ok ,till i try to use
oe.My norton internet security stops it.I`ve made sure it is configured right
,but i still cannot connect .As soon as i switch security off ,it works.

A friend has the Red X show up in e-mails where there should be pictures.
She had Deleted Temp. Internet Files, but still get the Red X.  Anything
else she should do?

I am unable to install update KB897715. Appears to be a version conflict. Help
displays 6.00.2800.1123 as the current verson number for Outlook Express.
Installer error code is 0x8007F302. No mention of this code anywhere on the

Using oe v6; received email w/pics attached. The .jpg pics all appeared
w/the email as expected but could not click on the attachments & save to
disk as all pics & the save option were grayed out. Am not interested in
saving email but do want to keep the attached pics. Any ideas?

Hi,  I'm trying to stop the warnings when changing from secure to insecure
site, or that contain both.
I clicked on tools internet options and then the advanced tab and strolling
to the section on security the box is uncheck when you want to be warned.

The Print button on the toolbar is grayed out and will not work. I tried
removing it and then replacing it in Customize Toolbars, but it still stays
grayed out and will not work.  Anyone have any ideas what's going on?  I

Is it possible to unlink the fonts used in OE 6 from the font of the icons

When you use the backup defaults in XP's Backup program to save a copy
of documents & settings does this mean that all of your old emails,
messages etc have been backed up?

I've tried to email 3 jpeg files totalling less than 2MB but all the
recipients get is thousands of letters of code.
Does OE have a default limit when these files are emailed?
I've wanted to amend such a limit but am unable to find this info in the
