If I open OE and check my Hotmail account, nine times out of ten it will
hang and I have to close OE and then try to restart it but that never works.
I get the following error message which means I have to restart the computer
everytime

Have just switched to cable broadband. Everything working fine, except for
outlook express. When I try to download mail, it opens my old analog modem
and connects through it.
I have gone through all the account settings and changed the obvious ones

I recently downloaded the upgrade for my Roxio Easy Media Creating (which
would have upgraded it from my existing EMC  7 to EMC 7.5).  Following the
installation I rebooted as directed, but upon restarting I was unable to open
Outlook Express.  I instead get an error message.

Hpw can I tell OE that a domain is safe?  All I can find is where I can block
senders.  Rather than adding say everyone at a company domain to my address
book can I just tell it that all e-mails from that domain are ok? (like you
can do in hotmail)

Is it a known problem (with a solution) that sometimes you can click on
a http link in a plaintext or html email and not only does the link not
open,
but the cursor is permanently a pointing-finger and OE totally hangs? I'm

I have installed a new hard drive with new OS.  I have my old OE contacts
and folders on a seperate hard drive.  Is it possible for me to import these
into my newly installed OE?  thanks

Whenever I send a url from my work Lotus Notes email system to my home OE
email addr and retreive it in OE, the link is not a hotlink, ie, it's not
able to be clicked on and have the site come up. It looks as if it's standard
text. It's a hotlink in my Sent box on Lotus Notes. ...

All of a sudden I can't start IE.  Double clicking the desktop icon or
the .exe file gives the following error message:

I'm accustomed to access my address book from both OE and a shortcut.  I am
frustrated to find that new entries made by accessing the address book by
one method do not make it to the address book accessed by the alternative
method.

When I send a pic using the Insert Picture button or when I forward an email
that contains embedded or inserted pics, the receiver just sees a box with a
red X.
What's up with this?  How do I fix it?

Every time I exit out of OE, it wants to compress files.  I have lots of
room and don't want it to.
It has an option to click telling it to not ask me again and I click it.  It
