When I put in a new listing in my address book, I use a different name for
the display name, like a friendly shortened versions of their name.
anyway, I find that my adbk sorts names alphabetically and used the display
name as the sort name making it hard for me to look last name ...

Lately, Outllook Express will not delete message manually. I have to reboot
my computer and then I can delete messsages. But, later in the day after
using OE a few times, the same thing. I cannot delete messages unless I
reboot the computer.

I go through the export process, export the address book to MyDocs as the
file Addresses.csv.  I get a confirmation message that all went well.  But
when I look in the MyDocs folder - there's no such file.  Same when I search
the entire hard drive.  I get a hit in the recent ...

When I try to reset and update the newsgroups, the Outlook news reader hangs
after reading about 64,000 entries.

Suddenly I cannot print from OE. I am able to print from MSWord, Notepad,
and even directly from my Yahoo mail website but NOT from OE. I am receiving
NO error messages at all. Can any one help???

OS is XP pro. OE is 6.
Two accounts have started getting random messages that sent email failed.

Every once in a while when I open Outlook Express 6, there is email in all
folders except the Inbox. It's blank - no email.
I have to reboot my computer and then open OE6 again and the email shows in
the inbox - but later in the day, the same thing...open OE6 and no email in

I got a new computer about two weeks ago after the old hard drive got
ruined. Someone had once walked me through the process of setting up a rule
on the old PC to accomplish the cleaning up, but I don't remember exactly
what the rule was. Can someone help?

I always thot my address book for OE was contained in the WAB file.  But on
my WinXP machine, I don't see a WAB file. Anyone know what file its in - and
why the change, and is the format an option?  ie Can I make it a wab file. I
do not use Outlook.
