How can I lock in the setings for Windows XP Home edition, my father keeps changing the settings such as the outlook express toolbars and his internet connection. I would like to be able to set it and forget it.

I recently lost the bottom bar in IE and I cannot figure out how to get it back. I'm talking about the bar that would show the url of web addresses as the mouse hovered over them. Sorry, I don't know the real name of it. Any ideas will be appreciated. ;)

Is there a way to copy a config file that had the users email setup in it. I backed up all data on a harddrive and had to reformat it. I forgot to look at the email settings to put things back. Is there a way to just copy over some file from the backup and all the config will ...

I'm lost for concepts and asking for a help. When forwarding from Outlook Express 6, email / message the usual header address, at the top is no longer shown. On my wife's pc OE6 works fine, only on mine something went wrong

Yesterday I configured my gmail account in the Outlook Express. I already had another email account(ie now I have 2 email accounts). Its working fine, where I can send new email messages and receive new messages from both accounts.

This pertains to OE Quotefix. My OE shortcut target is OELaunch.exe, which is in the QuoteFix folder, so I assume the program is running, but way back when I first set it up I hid the tray icon. I'd like to bring the icon up so I can open the options dialog
