Previously when I opened OE6 there was a toolbar that contained a box
labeled SEND/RECEIVE and also a X (Delete). They are no longer on my screen,
and I miss them dearly. Where could they have gone??  Thanks.

When I send messages to my contacts, the sent messages folder shows my name
as the contact I sent to instead of giving me the actual name of the contact,
even though the meassages are correctly sent to the final destination.
Appreciate your  help!

Sometimes when I try to access messages in the distant past I get a blank
saying "Message no Longer Available on the Server".
How can all such messages be purged from the system without going to the
trouble of opening each of them?

OK , here's my delima.  I have been using OE6 ever since I purchased my
computer back in 2001.  I have recently updated my PDA to Windows Mobile 5
and that required me to set Outlook as my defualt email client.  I will
learn to live with that but I would at least like to use OE6 for ...

OK my problem is that my OE won't open and I get this message ...

In OE6 newsgroups, I mark all messages as read and then
find that I have to select "catch up " to get rid of some that
apparently are still there, but not shown as unread.

Outlook express has recently become very slow at downloading received emails
when I start the program.  It used to be "instantaneous" rapid fire
receiving of messages.  Twenty messages arrive in 1 or 2 seconds.  Lately,
each message takes about 30 seconds to arrive, and then wait ...

My contact list in the lower left hand panel has disappeared even though my

I have a lot of folders in IE6, and a lot of subfolders.  When I start up IE6 some of
the folders are expanded showing all of their subfolders.  This takes up a lot of screen
space and I'd like to find a way to keep the subfolders in the un-expanded position
