Anyone know how to download messages that are not current? I want to
download messages from more than a few months ago, but I just can't find a
setting.

Does outlookexpress run in the background, or do you have to open it to see
if you have mail.

I had a computer crash and had to do a rebuild of Windows XP.  I used the
disc and did a upgrade instead of a full reinstall.  Everything went fine
and I got OE working fine downloading.  The problem is that when I send a
message I get a message saying 'Windows Installer'  This ...

I have a client who can't view plain text messages properly in Outlook
Express.

I play canasta and pinochle on yahoo..When I exit out it freezes my

My ISP will only allow me to copy 20 addresses per email.
I have a need to copy more addresses than this so I have had to send
multiple emails.
Is there a way around this or some software available to get around it?

I have a client who is unable to read many of their HTML e-mails with
HTML formatting.
On their problem computer, Outlook Express changes HTML tags to HTML
code (i.e., &lt; for <) if the Outlook Express header is missing.

I hate like heck sounding like a broken record here but like all the others,

I'm using Outlook Express on XP ( version 6.0026.00000  6.0 (XPSP_SP2) )
Initially, I was able to set-up Compose Settings Defaults in
Tools/Options/Compose.  And the settings still appear to be set when I reopen
the Tools menu option.

I had a lot of trouble with OE although I forget what it was now.  Anyway I
now use OE-Quote-Fix and have for sometime.
Sometime ago, maybe when I went to quote-fix, the speller has to be forced
if I am typing in an existing post.

Under my Local Folders my Inbox folder has a subfolder which receives mail
coming to it's own email address. I merely open that subfolder to read it.
Works great. Now I want to add a second new subfolder with another address.
I added a third Account as directed by my ISP tech ...

I have some OE6 dbx files that I saved from one system.
How can I access them on a different system using OE6?
(Note:  I no longer have access to the original system.
The old dbx files are in CDROM.)

How do i get Outlook Express 6 to block multiple senders. I get about 40 or
50 spam e-mails per day and have to go through them individually to block
the sender. I have tried to click on the first one then hold down the shift
key and click on the last one, but that doesn't work !

I'm so lost in this - all my domain.com's emails are not coming thru since
early this morning - my normal dsl address - centurytel.net email is coming
thru - but none of my dotcom's ....I don't understand all this feuding

My blocked senders list disappears every time I close Outlook.  I'm pretty
sure this only started happening in the last month or two, but there's
nothing new that I have installed.  I've looked through everything I can
