When I receive an e-mail with a .eml attachment and open it, it opens as a
wordpad document. This won't allow me to view it properly.

I got a certificate (to digitally sign messages) and OE6 sees it but I get
some stupid "security" warning and cannot send the message digitally signed
to Usenet or by e-mail.  WHY NOT???  How do I get this to work with
XP-Home/SP2 ?

I am using outlook express and want to block a user by name or domain. It is
junk mail.
I am using XP but when I select any mail then message the 'Blocker Sender'
option is not available, light gray rather than black text to select.

how do i get the phone dialer feature to work using optimum voice . i

When I attempt to open certain e-mails from trusted senders, I get the message:
"An error has occurred in the script on this page"
The error is "Unterminated String Constant"
I am still able to view the e-mail but must click either "yes" or "no" a few

Unfortunately, I have OE set to DELETE group messages when I leave the group.

I have question about OE6 and Norton Internet security 2005 from symantec.
Actually, it is a problem I am having.
Have few sub-folders under the Inbox to sort out my incoming e-mail.
I set mail message rules to move specific e-mail to specific sub-holders.

I updated WindowsXP last night and now, although I can use Outlook Express
to access NewsGroups, I cannot upload / download email.  I have tried a
broadband and dial-up connection so I am wondering if one of the updates has
caused a problem.

Is there any way to select a folder and import to that folder rather
than to the main WAB?
Or, as an alternative
is there someway to "change" address books so that you could easily

Ok tried to sort this a few months back and got no where so trying again.
Problem....I have 2 email address on outlook express XXX  and YYY
XXX is set to the default email and if sending email this works ok
YYY I manually choose this email when required. ( I use this for work)

I have examined the history, and one "internet shortcut" keeps coming up
regardless if the history has been deleted.  When clicked on, it says it's an
internet shortcut, but it is not listed as a favorite.  It also comes up on
the pull down menu when you type in the first letter ...

I am new to this newsgroup. I just recently installed SP2, and I am having a problem with OE.
Wxp-home, OE 6.00.2900.2180
After I installed SP2, when I REPLY to an e-mail,  I find that I can no longer "highlight"

When I try to open OE, I get an error message that says...
"Msimn has caused an error in DIRECTDB.DLL  Msimn will now close."
Therefore unable to get into OE......can anyone help me out?
I'd appreciate the help...thxs
