I backed-up my OE address book from my Me based system in the prescribed
fashion leading to a .WAB file. Now I see that OE6 on XP will imort only a
book with a .CSV extension.
How can I import that .WAB folder?

Recently, I found that whenever I compose an email, I see a new title bar
"New Message - Western European (ISO)".
I did not see that kind of stuff before.   What does that mean?   How can I
get rid of it.  I am in the US.

My Inbox and all my other folders used to show unread messages in bold and
read messages as not-bold. For some unknown reason, now all the contents of
all my folders are shown bold. This occurs regardless of whether Clear Type

This is a problem that has happened continuously in the past, then stopped for a few
weeks, now has started up again.  I click on a link in an email from eBay, and my
browser comes up with a blank page.  The address in the address bar of the blank page is

I am using XP Pro SP2 and in IE6 have not cleared the history files for
several days; even though I look at pages in the internet virtually every
day, and have set the 'clear History' for 20 days,when I click the history
button, only the pages visited today are showing. Any help ...

I recently upgraded to Adobe 7.0.1 and now when I get an email with a PDF
attachment, i double click it and it tells me it is an unrecognized file type.
If I save it and then double click it, it opens right up.
If I forward the email to another computer in the office it opens right ...

When I close the program the compression of the message starts automatically
and it take some minutes.Why?

Recently had a problem with my computer which required the re-installation
of some programmes. Now I am unable to transfer photos from my "Photos"&
write to drive "F"which is my CD re-writer. Message which appears is-F:\ is
not accessable. The baloon no longer appears to indicate ...

Everytime I open up Outlook Express, it changes my PC display settings from
32-bit color to 8-bit color.  Once I close OE, the color returns back to
32-bit, just as if nothing happened in the first place.  I have a XP Home SP2
machine.  I have tried re-installing SP2, but no luck ...

I can't seem to find anywhere a document that describes the command line
options for OE.  I am familiar with /mailto and /eml.  Are there others?

I forgot my password, now I can't get in to reset it.

I am using OE6. A folder was deleted by accident and OE was closed.  I found
the Deleted Items.dbx file but I don't know how to open it.  Is it possible
to get that folder back? I am assuming that the folder is still on my pc
somewhere since the .dbx is 74mg.

Using OE6.0 with a simple XP dialup to Earthlink. No EL softwware being
