I'm using OE 6 as my news agent (no email). I've noticed over the past few months that even though my setting is to download all messages in several newsgroups I'm not getting all of them, or even the headers. The worst offender recently has been word.docmanagement.

What are Hotmail's POP3 and SMTP server addresses? I'm trying to install McAfee's spamkiller and that requires POP3 specification in the Outlook Express accounts. In case it's important, I am a subscriber to Extra Storage in Hotmail.

I have spent too long trying to create a wholly .html signature. I have ended up writing text and inserting images then saving that "template" in drafts and making multiple copies, so I'm able to use one when I want to send using a signature. I can't find composer in Netscape or ...

I have a client who gets the following error when she sends emails " message could not be sent" thewre is no explantion in the msg box . The msg(s) remain in the outbox and have to be deleted or Outlook

Problem is driving me nuts. I have 2 email accounts. When I use username@bmi.net, I can send/receive email. When I use username@direcway.com, I can receive email, but can not send. My computer just seems to set here, and not try to connect to the server for a long

I am shortly going to be moving from Win2000Pro to XPPro, the PCs being on a peer to peer LAN. At the moment with 2000Pro I am using Outlook Express for mail, which works OK apart from the fact that I could really do with being able to access mail

I'm migrating from Outlook Express 6 on an XP machine to Outlook on a different XP box. When I try to export the messages, I get a MAPI error. I'm currently trying to move the messages manually, but that has limitations.

I want to be able to reject email from certain persons and cause that to send them a message as "undeliverable". I know how to block messages but it merely sends them to my Deleted Items folder. I get more messages in that folder than I do in my Inbox.

On my new computer I can open .EML attachments but not .email attachments. In Control Panel / Folder Options /File types, both are shown to open with Outlook Express. I can open .email attachments on my old computer using OE.

I can send a .mid file and it will embed and play in the message as background. Mp3 will not do that. Converted .mp3 to .wma...... that doesn't work either altho the drop down menu showing all the different formats has .wma included in the variety. HELP!!

I am using Windows XP Home in Spanish and OE 6.0 When I receive an email from a Japanese sender I can read the Japanese text all right but the subject and the sender's name are not displayed correctly on the messages list window.
