Does anyone else get this strange behaviour?
One of our users reported this 'problem' on his XP system (SP2, fully
patched with all current updates. OE6 version 6.00.2900.2180.)
- Open an email with an Excel file attachment.

I'm using OE 6 on WinXP SP2. Whenever I attach a jpeg image, the file
"Content-Type" value is set to "application/octet-stream". Is there any way
I can make OE specify the correct type, namely "image/jpeg", when composing
and sending such messages?

I've added a Gmail account to OE.  It worked.  I restarted my computer.  The
Gmail account no longer worked because:  the incoming (POP3) server was
changed to 127.0.0.1 and the incoming port was changed to 110.  Changing
these back to pop.gmail.com and 995 allows the Gmail ...

Can somewhere out there please help.
Until about a week ago, OE 6  was working and printing correctly.
However now for some reason, when I print a received e-mail the message
it is printed without any margins on the lefthand, right hand or top.

I know I have seen a dialog come up about Internet Explorer repair and how
it can some times repair its self. I am at a loss as to where to locate this
option dialog box so I can run this the repair app.

My email properties change periodically by themselves and I cannot receive or
send any mail.  When I open Tools, Accounts, select accounts, properties,
server,  the incoming mail box has changed.  Instead of the "pop" address, it

finds no errors and states check is completed.  Spell check does find errors

After I post to any newsgroup outlook express 6 with all updates leaves the
post in the out box. It doesn't try resending them so it knows they have
been sent. Any ideas how to fix the problem.

Is there a quicker way to do this than clicking on the names individually,
