I have OE 8.0 with WinXP.
I just got a high-speed cable system hookup for my stand-alone at-home
computer.
My problem relates to the speed I am getting when I upload (send) a 2 meg

I've notice that my version 6.0.2800.1106 is a huge resource hog.
After several days without rebooting or restarting OE, I've noticed that OE
has gobbled thousands of Windows handles and objects (I used taskinfo from
http://www.iarsn.com to see this)

I am developing a Http server compliant ot Http 1.1. I am having problems in
maintaining a persistent connection the moment I enable authorization on the  
server.the connection is terminated by the client after the authorizing itself

Replaced old PC that failed.   I connected the old disk as a slave drive.
Now I need to find the outlook express messages and folders on the old drive
and import them.
Any ideas?

Default full-screen message display?
When I click on an e-mail message I want to read, is there some way to set
the default so it displays the message full screen, rather that having to
select full-screen for each message? (Outlook e-mail messages automatically

My old system crashed. The operating system was ME and used Outlook Express.
My replacement computer uses XP and also Outlook Express.
My old system hard drive still works, and I have installed it in my new
system as a second drive. Is there some way to mosve my Inbox and Outbox

I have successfully exported a friend's OE address Book to her hard
drive, and copied it to a floppy. File was *.csv.

  I have the settings set to notify me of any new messages with a sound and
my sound card is working properly but when I receive new messages i dont hear
the sound.  Any help would be appreciated

I just create a new account in my OE (ex. B account),as a option ,and as
default I set my account (A account),I got trouble to show B account,anybody
know how to display B account?

in IE6 when trying to send a page by e-mail  going through File, Send,
Page by E-mail..., I get a popup window saying: "The current document
type can not be sent as mail. Would you like to send a
Shortcut instead?"

Can you suggest a message rule or rules that would allow me to configure OE6
to do the following two things: (1) put all mail from recipients who are in
my address book into the inbox; and (2) put all other mail into the deleted
items folder.   Also,

When I click on the Address Book there's nothing in it.
If I go to "Find" to look up something which used to be there, it still is!
I've tried to import a saved copy of the Address Book, and answered YES to
overwriting all the entries - and still no Address Book can be seen.

I just got a new computer and want to know how I can transfer all the folders
and its contents to the new computer. Both my laptop and my desktop are
using outlook express. Please help! Thank you.
