I get this message whenever I try to go to Tools/Internet Options. The title bar has "Restrictions" in it and the message is "This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator."

Following advice here some time ago, I put about 20,000 messages from my active folders into new ones, then placed those .dbx files in an archive. I'd like to acccess them now. Tried putting them into the same OE folder with all the other .dbx

I am having the same problem that has been posted previously, but nothing that is suggested has fixed it so far. I am running Outlook 6. I have tried to uninstall OE, but that doesnt seem to help.

I'm new to XP, formerly 98SE. I've been getting a window popping up telling me OE can compact to free up disk space (not that I need the disk space). Should I click "OK" or continue to periodically compact all folders through the File menu, as I'm used to doing?
