With no action on my part, outlook express has started going through a lengthy "Clean up and Compaction" routine whenever I shut down the computer or exit OE. This is a major pain.

Some of OE files in serval folders were messed up while importing and exporting OE files to or from Outlook, particularly foreign language files. I wand to recover all the files existed in the folder at the previous night. I did not make back-up files.

can i configure outlook express to direct mail from each of my addresses to respective "inbox" subfolders? or, must i use the "identity" feature to separate the mail received in 4 unique mailboxes? thanks,

Windows XP Pro SP2, with all critical updates When I open a message [ new composition or received, for example ], the window is about 4" x 6". Can I make an adjustment so that the message is always full screen?

My Microsoft Messenger v7.5 has lost recognition of a contact it had previously had. The Hotmail address book shows the pawn icon but only in red. Cliking on it does not allow IM, only email. Is this a security or other such setting problem? Stumped here...
