I open up Outlook Express 6, read an email, click on a hyperlink in the (safe) email, it takes me not to the website but to a user folder in My Documents. It doesn't matter what email it is either... if it has a hyperlink it takes me to the same user folder everytime; why? and ...

Since I have installed Internet Explorer 7, both Internet Explorer and Outlook Express are in Offline mode when I start up my computer, and on Outlook Express it fails to check my e-mail on start up. Is this a bug in IE 7?

I have run into a wierd problem with OE 6 running on WIN 2000 Pro. I backed up OE documents by copying all of the files in the storage directory onto a CD. Later, some files on the desktop got lost on the main desktop. So I copied the CD files back into the files storage S/D. OE ...

I have been (apparently) sent an email, which may have been mistakenly deleted. Is there a file/folder where I can check to see if it has in fact been sent (arrived at destination)

I'm running Windows ME and OE 6. Whenever I click on a hyperlink in OE, my screen freezes and I have to cntrl/alt/del to get out. I restart OE and everything is O.K. until I click on another hyperlink again.

When clicking on a contacts name to bring up a new email the listing in the TO: box list the recipients email address rather then the name that is listed for the contact. How to I change this back so just the contacts name is listed in the TO: box only?

I noticed in one of the newsletters, instructions on how to compact oe folders. Can someone give me an idea as to why a person would want to do this? As an extension of this, why would one want to compact news folders.

I'm trying to create a new folder under local folders and when I click on folder new nothing happens. I've been able to create folders up til now. Anyone any ideas?
