Send/Receive in Outlook Express has suddenly slowed to a crawl.  Anyone have

The deleted items folder is not emptying on shutting down with the
maintenance option selected.  I have tried deleting the dbx file, but this
makes no difference.

my inbox isnt receiving any new messages & messages since 1/23 have
disappeared.
other computers on the network are receiving emails ok.  the mail  server
still has the mail messages. i use cloudmark to filter out spam; messages go

When I receive mail with an attachment, I have a message that says:
OE removed access to the following unsafe attachments in your mail: ****.doc
Any suggestions on how I can modify this behavior??

I hear the sound, the email icon in the tray comes up, but there's

Have a brand new computer.  Can export address book from a nearly new
notebook (WIN XP, OE6) to floppy or CD easily (Address Book, export, address

OE6 opens fine.  It reads new mail fine.  It reads new newsgroup messages

It will not send anything.  It just sits there until it tells me it isn't

I recently bought a new Dell computer.  I am using IE6 and Outlook Express.  
When I receive a message with a link in it, I cannot open the link.  I click
on it and nothing happens.  I can't even copy the link unless I start the
process to forward it.  Then I can copy and past in ...

After using Add/Remove Windows components to remove FAX services (only
checked the box next to Fax services), noticed that Outlook Express and
Internet Explorerer were missing.   To get them back, I reran Add/Remove
