I am having trouble downloading multimedia files since I
installed cable. I can only get a handful of files when I
click on the newsgroup name. Anyone have any idea why this
would happen. It happens with every e-mail client I have

I accidently activated this newsgroup responding to a welcome OE letter and
find it to have a lot of useful info..I am wondering why I can not delete
the posts?  Do they reside externally to my computer???  I am so new, new ,
and none of my computer friends use or have used ...

In Outlook Express go to File | Export | Adress Book... | select Microsoft
Exchange Personal Address Book | Export.
Now a dialog box comes up asking which of your Outlook profiles you would

I'm not sure what I did (THIS time) but in OE all my opened emails in my IN
box have converted to UNREAD only this time they give no indication that
there is or isn't an attachment associated with the letters  (no little
paper clip).

I am at my wits end here. I have tried so many ways to
restore my old messages (created in OE 6) and nothing works.
After pointing the wizard to the store folder I get a
message that there are no messages or "another program is

I am unable to uninstall an expired version of OE Backup.  The message
states " C:\......unins000.dat does not exist.  Cannot uninstall".
Should i just delete the folder and then reinstall the application?

I have recently switched to DSL and it is now taking longer to send an email
than it did with dial up.  My download and upload speed are fine and I
receive emails as fast as I should.  But I sent one that was 5449K long and
it took 8 minutes to send.  I am sure the problem is in ...

Periodically my e-mails to a friend end up in her Deleted Items folder!
She'll go back into her Blocked Senders list and sure enough, my name is
there.  (She does NOT send it there!)  She'll remove it and things are OK
for a while; my e-mails go into her Inbox.  But after a while ...

  Is it possible to rearranmge youir folders in OE6? I don't want to send
them anywhere, just rearrange their order.

how can send an e-mail by microsoft outlook?

When I click on Send/Receive, there is a screen flash for a split second and
then the message at the bottom of the page No New Messages. I can not send or
receive messages. Internet Explorer is working Ok, so I know that the PC is

Whenever I try to open a local html file that contents javascript,  IE (6 on
XPsp2) pops this message and blocks scripts until I click the bar and select

When I recieve e-mails from yahoo with pictures included, they come up as
