finally upgraded my computer to Windows XP home and am having an issue with
outlook express.  I cannot see images and cannot edit or copy from the
messages.
I have IE set to fairly low security and DO NOT have plain text checked for

Is there any way to disable the compacting in Outlook Express 6 with XP and
SP2  ? I have a friend who is having all sorts of problems it won't finish
compacting  and just keeps restarting and freezing the system.

I just did a reformat and clean install of Windows XP Pro with all available
updates now applied. I find that if I click a URL in a received news group

My Sent Mail Items has reach 2GB Limit and I have move some mails to another
folder. Then I choose to compress the Sent Mail Items Folder. However, most

I can send an email fine from my own email.  My problem is anytime I try to
send an email from another website.  If I go to a persons site and need to
contact them and outlook comes up, I get the same message everytime I try to

I burned some OE e-mail files to a CD. As you probably know (as i found out)
they are DBX files. (What ever that is).
Now I have these OE files on a CD with no way to open them.
