Outlook Express viewing question20 Mar 2006 00:58 GMT2
I used to be able to see people's e-mail messages with pictures, or just a
written joke they pass along, just by clicking them open.    Now, after my
DSL switch and clean up by a tech, all my messages (that are not directly
written text just for me) have attachments.    I just ...

Plain text vs. HTML19 Mar 2006 21:25 GMT7
I have a strange situation here.  I can (and do) receive e-mails in HTML
from many/most people, but I have one friend that I thought her e-mail
format did not permit her to send in color, etc. because the e-mails I
receive from her are always in plain text.   Just now she told me ...

How do I easily reinstall or fix Outlook Express 6?19 Mar 2006 05:48 GMT3
I've had OE for years. I have Windows XP. I previously installed Office 2000
- then took the trial for Office 2003.  I removed Outlook 2003, because the
system will not run both Outlook 2000 and 2003 at the same time.  While in
Excel 2003, I ran REPAIR. Wrong move, Outlook 2003 ...

I frequently receive mail with the .EMAIL suffix and cannot read them using OE.  Does anyone know
which program opens these messages and how do I get it to work with OE?  I have IE6 and XP home.

Annoying Little Yellow Box19 Mar 2006 03:22 GMT3
When composing and I move the cursor into the "To", "Cc", or "Subject"
field, an annoying little pop-up (yellow) message box appears telling me
what to enter into these fields.  Is there some way to shut off this
feature?
Can't delete emails in OE19 Mar 2006 02:32 GMT2
The other day, I had my OE open, my hand on the mouse and reached up with the
other hand to wipe off my screen. Big zap of static electricity ran through
the mouse and, of course, killed the cursor. I closed everything out using
the keyboard, and rebooted the system. Cursor came ...
