Sometimes OE doesn't ask for my identity password. Even when it's the firt time I'm accessing OE after turning on my computer. It seems to be completely random - sometimes OE will ask for my identity password and sometimes it won't.

Ok, is there any way to disaple this? I have a certain email address that gets automatically deleted thanks to the rules, but it beeps and the little tray envelope appears. Am I missing something?

A friend asked if I knew why his IE opens under the OE program when he click on a link in his email. He has to click on the task bar button to see the linked page. I have seen this answer before, but a search of Google and Groups.Google has not brought up any answer.

Once, when I had an IMAP email account on OE, there was a setting that allowed the user to view messages, and press space on each message to download it from the server. Is there any way to do this with a POP3 account?

Sometimes, when I get back to the PC after some time of inactivity I find that the icons in the toolbar of Outlook Express have grown bigger. Thus some icons, such as the purge icon, have disappeared. Any clue?
