I have a desktop PC and a laptop which I have set up as home network.  I am
connecting the laptop to the internet via the modem connected to the desktop
PC, this works fine for the internet but when I try to use Outlook Express on
my laptop it will not use the LAN and keeps ...

At once my e-mail client doesn't reproduce HTML notices  in its usual
format. Can anyone give me the reason, and . . . what to do about it?

I have two different user accounts setup on Windows XP Pro. I use Outlook
Express for my email client. Can two people share the same OE inbox? One
email address where both users can see the same OE inbox?  Thanks for taking

A friend is sending me a .wav file as an attachement, however the email shows

I have a friend who tells me that when he gets an attachment he gets a
message to say Outlook Express has hidden the message for security.
How does he get  rid of this arrangement?

I have become unable to send email attachments from my outlook express. I
can receive them and send them from my email programs on the internet. This
is a little annoying and I would be very grateful if someone out there in
geeky land can offer guidance.

Every time I enter any information in the address bar, IE6 Crashes... this
just started and I can't figure out why.  I'm also getting errors when I try
and do a windows update and try to re-install the Service Pack.....  
I can browse perfectly though...

I know I can transfer mail and NG folders from OE to another machine. I can
save all the dbx folders, and then import them to duplicate things.
But, can I transfer all the settings such as accounts, message rules, etc.?
I'm setting up a new system to take over from my current XP ...

WinXp, Office 2k, OLE6.x.
Spell check works fine in Word but not in OLE.
Click on Tools, spelling.... and I get an OK msg everytime, even if I know a
word is mispelled.

OE seems to download all my emails ok, but when click them nothing shows up
in the preview box. When I double click, it opens a new window(also blank).
The problem first started soon after I installed a wireless network, dont
know if that caused it. I am running several email ...

I had deleted by mistake some important messages and when i closed OE they
where deleted from "deleted itens" folder.
Is there some way to recover these messages?
