The 4/11 patch worked well for me, but not for a friend whom I have been
trying to help.  It corrupted her address book.  We found the old address
book, but cannot import it becuase it is corrupt.  I used the email support
to try to recover, and the MS tech was not able to ...

I'm having a real problem here. After an automatic update of some kind,
when I opened Outllook Exress, it said that my adress book had been
corrupted and it would try to restore it. Apparently it failed, because
Outlook Express was not functioning at all. So I read some of the

The April 2006 patch for the Windows Address Book (or one of the related
patches) has left me unable to open any WAB file; I am prompted to reinstall
Outlook Express.
This is definitely a file related issue because I restored my registry to

Running XP Pro with SP2 & IE6/OE6 here. Installed all of the new updates the

If I send email to 4 addresses or less, it goes.  5 or more, the email goes
into the SENT file, but is not rec'd by any of the addressees.  HELP!!!  If I
try to use Eudora, or any other email client, same problem.
