I used to have an old Win98SE machine which had the one email account that
was used by everyone in the family (we don't get much mail - boo hoo!! and
most of it is essentially for all of us anyway). This was not a problem
until I put together a new PC which has WinXP Home SP2 ...

Am I going crackers or has something change with the way OE handles .eml
files.  I collect stationery and would save it in .eml format so that I
could go to my stationery folder and double click on the .eml and it would
open ready for use.

First, my computer conducted an "automatic update" last week with the result
I lost a complete folder of saved messages and my address book.
Luckily I backed up my address book (2173 entries) and only lost about 3
days worth of work.

I can't get into outlook express because it ask for a password. I do not even
remember putting in a password. I thought it might be the same as passport,
but it didn't work. Does anybody know how I can find out my password?

the user name and password entries on the default email account seem to be
disappearing  when I set up my account and tell it to remember .  When I try
to send or receive, it asks me for my user name and pass word.  when I check
the account properties, they are blank.

My spell checker options have just gone from englich to spanish.  When I tried to correct the problem, I was only offered French, French Canadian, and International Spanish as options... How do I fix this?

I am using Outlook Express 6 and I want to send html emails with sound and
