Does the information given the last few days apply to trying to recover
corrupt news group file as well? When I tried to follow the import
procedures I did not get offered newsgroups to copy to, only "Inbox, Send
Items, etc.

When I download files that are in spreadsheet format,
they  open  with Excell.  I just want the download to proceed without
opening the file.  It used to work that way when I was using Win 95 but
since I upgraded to XP it won't just do a simple download without opening

My IE (6) isn't able to connect to any site: it remains still, without even
trying to solve the name (only the right-upside flag waves...).

Invalid syntax error on some URL links in OE01 Apr 2006 15:45 GMT20
I'm having trouble with URL links in OE (6.00.2900.2180) - when I click on
some links in messages the open up IE but it displays "Invalid Syntax
Error".

Here's the background.
Running a small network of about 15 computers.  Server is Windows 2000 all
other stand alone computers are XP pro. Broadbanded but not Microsoft
Exchange installed so shared connection via network/router etc.
Can't Print OE or IE01 Apr 2006 11:53 GMT15
This after malware cleanup of XP SP2 PC.  Absolutely nothing happens when
you attempt to print.  Print Preview in IE shows blank screen.  Has a dll
been killed?  Ant idea on how to fix this?
