Hi Group.
Had a problem with my old hard drive.  have new one now, but am looking to
restore some of my older e-mails back into the current OE6.  I found the old
INBOX file with the .DBX extension.  I thought I could just open the current

No versions of OE (or for that matter IE) are listed in the Control Panel
Add/Remove utility.  
I read (somewhere) that they should be there, and that I would be able to
delete my troublesome copy of OE, and then D/L and install a fresh copy.

For the 2nd time I have had a folder just ''Drop Out" of existance. 1st time
was minor problem. This time it is a major one.
The folder thathas gone, is MY DOCUMENTS in the local folders of Outlook
Express.

an '.xml' attachment... OE 6 cannot open said attachment, because I am
supposedly using an 'XSL style sheet'... in the Help menus for OE 6 and my

I let it do this , this morning and after a couple more
emails arrived it want to compact again  . Starting to be

it seems not possible with the version 6.0 of outlook express to block news
messages by their "x-authenticated-user" property. "block sender" command
blocks the message by the sender's mail address. it is not also possible to

If I reply some mail de content of that mail is copied to the clipboard.
Is this usual behaviour? Can anything be done about it?

I tried to send way too many pictures at once and now my computer freezes
everytime I open the outbox. If I right click outbox the properties show me
the one file causing the trouble. If I open the outbox to delete the file I
am instantly frozen again. Any way to delete this bad ...
