I have two computers and they both have outlook express 6 on them. I have
the exact same email for both of them. I want to fix the following problem.
When I receive an email on one of the computers I don't recevie that email on
the other computer. It all depends on who opens ...

Running Windows XP SP2, Norton AV. Today opened the inbox and it was empty.
All other folders that I have created are gone.
The folders appear to be there in the back up but I don't know how or if
they can be restored. Any suggestons?

Whilest using OE6 my computer automatically compacted my files/folders and
now I can't find them anywhere.  Can anyone help please? Thanks

Every-time I send or receive e-mail I have to re-enter my password. I have
version 6 and when I go to the servers tab in accounts and enter my user
name the area provided for my password is "grayed out". The only way it will
let me enter the password is if I check the box telling ...

My default e-mail program is Microsoft Outlook 2003, and I have all my
contacts in it.  I want to be able to import them into the Outlook
Express address book, but I haven't been able to do it so far.  I tried
the import other address book, but the MS 2003 contact list isn't

I have about 50 different rules and would like to remove them all at once
without having to do it individually.
Is there a way to select them all for removal?

All received messages show the attachment icon (including emails without
actual attachments).
I have tried creating a new inbox and re-importing the messages, but did not
work.

I have 2 mailboxes from the same internet provider, mailbox A and B.
Account A can send and receive but account B can only send.
Incoming and outgoing server are exactly the same for both accounts. I've
already made a third account that is the same as the one that does not work,

After combining & decoding a file from a newsgroup (10 mb for example), oe
will start 'searching the text for hyperlinks'. If I don't save the file
immediately, it gets more difficult the deeper into it's "search" it
goes....

I don't want images to automatically appear when I click on the email or
newsgroup message, but I want to have the ability to show images, if I know
its' from a reputable source....

I am buying a new PC very soon and would like to transfer my saved emails
from my old PC to my new one, am I able to do so and if so, how do I.  I'm
running Windows XP home edition, my new PC will be running Windows XP
Professional.

i have had a PC fail and trying to restore email to outlook express.
the old pc's hard drive is intact and have retrieved the .dbx files and
loaded up email.

Is there a way to transfer Message Rules and Blocked Senders lists from OE6
on one computer to OE6 on another computer?
