Running OE6, and Windows XP Pro SP2.
I have two email accounts set up with my ISP, (Comcast).  One for myself and
one for my wife.  I noticed that when I go to the .dbx files where OE stores
its messages, there are two files for each of us.  Is this the norm?  I

After years of proper operation, suddenly my server is not sending mail to my
inbox...I can read it on the server, but there has been some change to the
password that I don't know....or know why it happened...
How can I start the server sending my mail....my OE is unable to fetch ...

Friend (who also uses OE) received a message  with graphics of some sort
shown, not as attachments, but within the body of the e. He forwarded this e
to me...on receipt the graphics were not shown..just little boxes with x in.

Ever since connecting my Motorola phone via Phonetools to my laptop,
whenever I type a name in the To: box (instead of opening Address
Book and selecting name from there) it now gives me for instance a
friends mobile number instead of her email address like it used to.

stored?  In Outlook there are .PST files but I can't seem to find anything
similar when searching on my C: drive of the computer that uses Outlook

I just got a laptop but I don't know how to transfer emails from my home
computer to my laptop. And I don't know if I can just delete my home computer
email account and if all of my emails will automatically go to my laptop.

I composed an email in my Outlook Express that consisted of lots of mp3
files and it was larger than I realized.  When I tried sending it, it
"hung up" and wouldn't send the message. (I have DSL.)  The mesage is
now in my out box and I tried to delete it, but when I click on it my

Sorry to intrude - but I've been trying to troubleshoot OE6
connectivity to my wife's Verizon account and found your name and the
'Telnet' troubleshooting technique from past posts.

when i try to forward a newsgroup message, i get a windows message that says
"you don't have a simple MAPI compatible mailer installed. microsoft outlook
express news cannot mail this message without a compatible mailer".
