I've got OE 6, in preview pane mode. That is, I just see the message
subjects, but can't read them. If I OPEN a message, then try to reply
or forward it, OE thinks for a few secs, then shuts down. If I reply or
forward to the message directly from the inbox, without opening it

I still use DOS with my Brief editor and several other programs. Using
Microsoft Windows XP (vsn 5.1.2600) I cannot get the full lines to display
horizonally, and the vertical length is also truncated.
Is there some way to get the screen to display the same view as a machine

I downloaded the messages from the server without leaving a copy of them
there. Is it now possible to send them back to server?
I want to access the messages from an another computer.

Having had to re-install from a formatted hard drive I now have a spell
checking problem with OE6.
If sending (spell check set to auto check before send) I get the error

first (or last) one then click delete.  But now I am unable to do it,  
holding down the shift key while highlight the first (or last) one in the
list that I want to delete.  I can delete one by one only. ...

I am recovering data post a crash and have managed to view the 'crashed'

Attempting to insert a picure into a new HTML email causes OE6 t
freeze. I click on the insert picture icon, the browse box pops up,
click on the browse button and a box pops up for me to choose th
picture file I want to insert, but at that point OE 6 stops responding

For some time now, this patch will d/l and install but it never asks me to
reboot.  Now that in itself is funny.  Even the page at Microsoft (after the
d/l) says the patch was installed correctly but I know it is not.

Whenever I copy something into a blank e-mail, OE automatically indents the
first line 3 spaces.
I do NOT want any indentation.  I have tried "decrease indentation" and
