I have a new friend who acquired an older computer (Win 98) recently and it
still has OE v.5 on it.  I can't remember how to tell him the way to upgrade
to v.6.   As I recall, the upgrade would be both for IE and OE.  Thanks.

I upgraded to SP2 last week and Outlook disappeared off my desktop and start
menu.  After contacting Microsoft, they told me where to find it.  It started
right up and had all my folders, addresses, etc.  However, now two things
happen:

I was preparing an email. When my address book was checked, the contact was
not listed, so I added the info. When Send was clicked a window popped up

Outlook Express has encountered a problem and must close down.
This comes up every time I try to open OE.  I think all of my critical

Need help badly and urgent.
Due to hard disk failure I had the HD replaced and reloaded  XP Home , XP
Office and some backups. But I am unable to configure OE to have my Inbox.
There is no Inbox at present, thereby I cannot download any incoming

2 Days back all my sent messages of 2006 are missing or got delete
from Outlook Express. I thought it might be a problem in outloo

messages but its missing  from there as well. Where has my message

Somebody used my computer and now OE is messed up.
When I typed to the edge of the page, my computer used
to drop to the next line.  Now it just types off the left end
of the screen and nothing appears that I can see.

in OE6, most of my folders have vanished!
They were there last night, but today only the inbox, outbox, sent and
deleted folders, plus ONE of my own personal folders are there, but even the
inbox is only half full.

I can get into OE just fine with the primary identity.  It's when I want to
open or change to a secondary identity that I get the error message: "The
password you typed is incorrect."
I know the password IS correct as I can access my email through the ISP site.
