I am trying to use outlook express as a newsgroup viewer. When I open it and select a newsgroup I get a dial-up connection box. I am already connected so I just close the box and everything works ok. That means it is not necessary. How do I get it to go far, far away and stay ...

I have worked on several computers that use Outlook Express and they show a "From" line in NEW MESSAGES that give the persons name. However not all setups have this header line. Mine does not. Not a big deal, but what feature, or options triggers that extra header line?

OE has developed a mind of it's own: it open's immediately upon start up. If I shut it down...it immediately (within 30-45 seconds) re-opens. While typing a message it will freeze the cursor disappears until I reclick. Please HELP!

I couldn't send email, and when I clicked on the Address Book I got a message stating the address book was corrupted and to reinstall. In trying to fix that, I must have screwed up msoe.dll, because now I can't even open oultook express, and I get the message "Outlook Express ...

The default (compose) font is Arial 10 point. That is used for both the body text and signature text on (new) outgoing messages. However, I've just noticed that, on using 'Reply', 'Reply All' or 'Forward', whilst the body text is Arial 10 point the signature text is Times New ...
