I have an email with html links.  They are underlined on the email and the
mouse chnges to the pointing finger when hovered over.
It will not download with single click, double-click or click while holding
Ctrl down.

Opening Outlook Express starts "Receiving" mode.  It stays reporting that it
is in this mode forever.
Checking with mail2web there are no emails so why is it still "receiving"?

Can anyone PLEASE tell me how i can upgrade to the latest version of Outlook

OE 6.0, Windows XP Home
When I reply to gmail the recipient gets ÿþ<.  I have seen this in
discussion groups.  I have "reply to email in the format they were sent"
checked.  I use "Western European ISO" in international settings.  Since I

OE can access newsgroups & receive msgs from newsgroups....but unable to
receive msgs from inbox. Checked Account set-up. Appears okay. Anyone any
ideas?

I seem to be losing any record of emails I have sent to one particular
individual. There is no record of it in sent items or outgoing mail.

I move my school news group posts to a local folder to save the info -- is
this causing my problem of not being able to create more local folders?

I removed Nero 7 from my computer and even cleaned the register.
* Now at a NEW stat up - and ONLY when start OE - I get an error message:

When i post a message in a newsgroup it says message sent,but it does'nt
show up in the newsgroup i posted it in.

I would like to use OE newsreader to get messages from certain Google Groups
the same as I do on the different groups at msnews.microsoft.com.  I have
been unsuccessful to far but I can't imagine it's really that hard.   I
guess I need a valid news server (NNTP) address if one ...

I have not set up OE6 to automatically add my signature to e-mails,
but if I right-click Sent mail and select Properties, my given name
and surname are shown, and the signature shows just my given name,
whereas my default signature shows only my surname.  For example :
