Got a new laptop, moved old messages (from old laptop) to folder on desktop:
no idea how to import! files are all .dbx.....using OE6....don't need to up
upload address book, just want to get all my mail folders! Help!

Afew days ago I changed some settings trying to screen some no good(junk)

a lite  gray color. I went back and tried changing back what I had changed

This concerns recoving mail folders and messages, local IMAP and Hotmail
folders and messages, and all of your subscribed newsgroups and messages
from an image file (Acronis) taken after a hard drive infection. The machine
has been scrubbed, reformated, and Windows XP Professional ...

I am not sure what kind of an "update" has installed - My mail replys seems
to "file" itself into the origianl letter that was sent out.....there are "+"
signs beside some of my mail - it is "highlighted: then other replys
pretaining to that original letter appears....... I don't ...

Would apprectiate some help.  When I send emails with pics attached I get
strange results:
If i send 11 or fewer photos the recipient gets them normally ( as pics),
however if I sent 12 or more pics they arrive as .dat files which nobody can

Several of my programs use the X-Unsent header in OE .eml template files to
easily send out software-generated mails via OE.
Since I moved my email from a Win2K machine to a 2003 Server machine this
useful feature no longer works.

Every time  my computer comes out of standby, and I try to receive
mail, Outlook Express sends an error message that says connection to
sever has failed.
I tried closing and reopening Outlook and that does not help.

Several months ago my hotmail inbox to Outlook Express deleted all it's
messages. After that point I've been getting messages to my inbox correctly
however. I've already checked with hotmail (using pro account) and they
couldn't locate any problems with my account.
