upon opening O E and connecting I get the following message:

Hi, i have a small problem that i hope someone can help me figure out.

Although i have the correct default address set in Accounts, for some reason

Have heard scanning my outgoing emails (OE) is an ineffective tool. If this
is true, how do I disable it?. My AV protection is Macfee. Thanks for any

Today I received 12 new eMails. When I opened one of them, which happened to
by from my ISP, then the text area of the message is completely empty, so I
couldn't read the email from my ISP.

think i might have come across that way sorry. ihave a question are server's
for e-mail the same as for newsgroup?i'm trying to download a couple of
newgroup's(ireally don't know how i downloaded this ...

OK.
I'm running Windows XP SP2.  Ever since I upgraded to SP2, I've a problem
with my OE newsreader.
Very often, (OK, most of the time), the newsgroup will say "NNN messages not

Is it feasible to import a message store created in OE6 (WinXP) into
OE5 (Win95)?  This would just be a stopgap pending purchase of a new
PC.
