I deleted a whole page of files in OE6 and it all jammed.   I uninstalled
OE6, rebooted, and reinstalled, but I can't delete mail now, can't actually
do anything without it being non-responsive.

I have OE 6 and Windows 2000 on a Dell computer.  When I try to open a pdf
attachment, it opens in word pad, and is unintelligible.  I have to first
save the file in Adobe, then open Adobe and access the attachment there.

The rules i have got set up in OE6 work fine except for two email addresses
which I can not get to work. The rule states if sender is not in my address

froze.  When I did a control alt delete, it showed comapct process not
responding.  I shut down my computer using the off button.  ...

Ever since I installed IE7 RC1 to my machine, OE6 refuses to check hotmail
(httpmail) and continues to ask for user name and password for the account.  
it continues even if i try to delete the account and try to add it back in.
anyone else having this problem?  anyone got a fix?

I seldom use OE 6.0 to send mail, though it collects alot. Outlook is my
default. I did use it yesterday and was surprised by a message from my
firewall:
"Outlook Express from your computer wants to send UDP datagram to localhost

WhenI click on Send/Receive in OE the status indicate "Receiving message 1 0f
1" when it finish, no new message appears or another example "Receiving 1 2 3
4 of 5 messages" when it finishes, only 2 or 3 messages appear. Need your
kind help.

I'm using Win XP and OE 6.
Awhile back someone gave me a tip for saving Email attachments to the same
hard disk folder every time.  I don't remember where I got the tip.  I'm not
even sure if it came from this forum.

I cannot seem to be able to remove auto reply from my messages permanently.
How is this done?

Some of my end users when they open OE6 in XP SP2 the login window appears
twice. They have to enter their password 2 times and then all is normal. How
can I prevent two login windows from appearing? Thanks.
