Apologies if this isn't the correct NG but as the problem affects accessing
IE and OE I thought it pretty close.
My problem is that the broadband connection is lost several times every
evening (it doesn't happen in the day time).  Sometimes it 're-dials'

For some reason, OE won't allow me to delete any read messages.  
Never had this problem before and I haven't made any changes to OE.
I have compacted all folders and still can't delete read messages.

I established a group in Outlkook Express version 6 - but when I send an
e-mail to the group it does not go through.  It appears correctly in my sent

I don't know whether you can help me or not.  I switched from bellsouth.net
to wetompkins@peoplepc.com.  I uninstalled  bellsouth and then had to go
back in and do some other things with their e-mail system which kept popping
up on my screen when I tried to send e-mail.

OE6 on a new installation of Windows 2000 worked perfectly at
installation. I then used Outlook Express Backup 6.5 from Genie-Soft to
try to move OE from a Windows 98 machine to the Windows 2K machine.
After I did the move, which I have done successfully many times before,

Receive this error code when sending some e-mails.  Have tried the solution
in a previous post: (Checking the box:  "MY SERVER REQUIRES AUTHENICATION" )
with no luck.  HELP!!!!  THANKS.
