Changing from Outlook Express to Outlook04 Oct 2006 13:35 GMT2
I would like to change email program from Outlook Express to Outlook, and
want to transfer all of the mail in my Local Folders into Outlook.  I can
find procedues for backing-up the Outlook Express folders, but none on
importing them into Outlook.

I had to do a complete hard drive erase,and re-install.
I then imported my OE files I saved from my external hard drive.
Now I can't delete messages, new or old ones.
I able to move messages from OE file to another just fine,but no matter

after i close OE after reading newsgroups, a box pops up asking me if I want
to free up disk space, then I can have OE compact messages. Is this a good
idea to do & an it really help? what is the drawback?
ALso, if I want to turn on/off this feature, where do I go. Thank you in

To conserve disk space, from time to time I'd like to save

My husband uses  Outlook at work, but I do not find it easy. to use.
FYI (I have the home computer he uses the City's computer which everyone
there has been  taught to use .
We all use Dell as we bought ours through a City deal

I recently started using the "email this file" in my pictures folder.
However, I can only send 1 email (no matter if I attach 1 pic or
several) per time my computer is on. In order for me to send another
email this way I have to restart my computer. My husband also has a

After downloading and installing IE7 , I am no longer able to open links in
Outlook Express . Is this a common problem ? How might I fix it ?
