I have created IMAP accounts. When I download the IMAP folders from the
server, it places the folders, Sent Items, Spam, etc....as subfolders off
INBOX rather than folders off the 'root'. How can I fix this?

I am using OE 6 and Win XP Pro
I click on Addresses Icon on the menu and go to Tools.  There is a feature
called Synchronize Now.  I am not sure what this Synchronize feature is

Every time I shut down Windows XP and restart, Outlook Express for some
reason changes the IP address of the incoming mail server (POP3) to a dummy
address.  I have to go in manually each time and change the incoming mail
server (POP3) address to the correct address for my 6 ...

I'd like to backup all my emails from Outlook Express, and then to
restore them if my computer ever crashes.  Is there a way to do that?

I too am having trouble with attachments. I get the standard OE 6 error
message when I send an email with attachments ("Some error occured while
processing the required task. Please review the list of errors below for more
details.") However, there are no further details on the ...

I am running IE6.  It is  displaying numbers in the bottom panel in the
following format: #########[##:##:##] - #########[##:##:##]
Any idea what this is?  As far as I can remember this has only been going on
for a couple of weeks.

I am in the process of changing to a new computer.
Previously I had only used OE for both work and personal with separate
identies, address books and email accounts.
I am now using Outlook for the work side for it's other features.  

I get some e-mail massages with a hyper link to a different sight and when I
click on it the curser just blinks and other times it will send me to the new
sight. I don't know why tis is happening. Any ideas? Thanks in advance to one

I do not have an icon in internet exlorer 7.0 to access my email from outlook
express 6.0.  the only icon is for yahoo mail.  I have checked to make sure
that Outlook express is my default email and it is.  Can anyone help me with
this?  I know I can access my email through OE ...

AVG Version 7.5 replaces Version 7.1 released today. It has to be updated
manually. Click on the link below and follow the directions. Whatever
settings you have set now, (i.e. Daily Scan Time, E-mail scanning off,
etc.), will remain as they are now.

Im getting this error
"The instruction at 0x060347562 referenced memory at 0x060347562. The memory
could not be read" when I shut down OE 6.
Have tried to remove OE and reinstall, no luck.  Have tried a system restore

I still have the problem with the switiching identities, so I have avoided
that for months now by logging out one, then signing in the other instead of
just swithing identities, because I am not smart and can't figure out how
else to fix it.
