I've recently received a slew of similar spam. All the messages come from addresses which start with "joe" plus a varying bunch of other characters. Is there any way in OE6 where I can attach a wild card to "joe" in my blocked senders list? I've tried "Joe*" but that doesn't work

Even though I have office 2007 set to English, OE is showing a French dictionary for it. So my spell check doesn't work in OE. Any ideas??

It seems that mails which have been deleted in the folder "Deleted Objects" still do exist since the corresponding dbx folder isn't empty. Therefore, is it possible to retrieve a deleted mail from the dbx folder and how? Thank you. MET

My dbx files for deleted and sent messages seem to be corrupt. They show a large size, but contain no or only a few small mails. Is it possible to create new versions of those files and how? Thank you. MET

OK following on from my problem with compacted emails, I used the restore tool by Steve. It managed to extract thousands (literaly - 3538 to be exact) of emails! However, a lot of them date back as far as 2004. Where exactly do those files go? I deleted them from outlook

I am on a XP system using a DSL connection and for two years mail has gone out immediately but lately I first see a message block saying "connecting to pop.xxxx.net" for a few seconds. It is the same local ISP I have always had. Any idea what caused the change?

Need your help. First the situation: Saturday late morning, as I am preparing to leave, I leave my computer while it begins compacting my Outlook Express. I clicked yes on an automatic prompt box and left the computer alone until I came back in the evening.
