I want to backup OE, however, when I went to the store folder for my identity I found about 52 "Search Folder.dbx". They have numbers after them, i.e. "Search Folder (1).dbx" all the way up to "Search Folder (52).dbx. What purpose do they serve, and can I safely delete them? ...

I have made the mistake of just deleting a message I posted to a newsgroup, rather than using Cancel Message, and, of course, the message is no longer on my computer to cancel. Is it possible to reinstate it, please?

I opened OE, which automatically d/l email from my gmail account. Shortly thereafter, the power cord on my PC was knocked out of place. Fortunately, when I re-booted all was well, except the most recently d/l email messages were no longer in my inbox. But they won't d/l again, ...

A new post, hopefully to gain even more attention...! My other post on the same topic, is unresolved. To recapitulate... I have Windows XP2 (completely reinstalled after reformatting last month), latest patch level, IE7 for 4 weeks and Outlook Express 6.
